GOOD DEED >>

Every Christmas my Niece and I go shopping for baby clothes & accessories for 2 boys & 2 girls, we then deliver this to the Nazareth House Home for babies with HIV. It's our small may of making a child's life more bearable during this season where love and family are so important.

I also regularly give the person in front of me at the check out counter in the local Pick 'n Pay whatever short change they may need to complete their purchase. R2 to me is small change, but to them it may mean the difference between a meal on the table that night or an empty belly.

I worked hard to get the money for my bag. I walked almost 2 miles to the pawnshop from the old age home with a TV, just to get money for my own GIVE-IT-BAG. I really like this idea.

GOOD DEED >>

Some days ago I did shopping at pick 'n pay. At the cashpoint I waited behind an old black lady. I could see that her fingers were deformed by arthritis - she could barely put her shopping on the counter. Then I saw that she left some of her shopping in the trolley, not even luxurious stuff - salt, bred etc.
When I asked her why she did not put everything on the counter, she said she does not have enough money. I asked her to put all of the stuff on the counter and I paid for it. Those situations happen quite often. For me it is natural to help out. But I thought it might be a good idea to post the good deed on your web site to encourage others to be more aware of their social environment.

As my daughter is currently living overseas i cared for the communication with her godchild in srilanka. After hesitating initially I found myself buying gifts and writing supportive letters. I realized how good it feels to give back. Thank you GIVE IT BAG!

I love my give it bag and use it all the time for shopping at the many local (Bay Area, California) farmers markets eliminating the need for plastic or paper bags. I bought it at the Design Indaba conference and fell in love with South Africa.

I worked with streetkids in Brazil for 4 month, it was an amazing time, full of love, fun, and challenges. those kids changed my life, we saved each other, i can still see this hope in their shiny eyes, can still hear them laugh, in their unfair world! i am proud to carry a give it bag, and we need to give much more back to this world... so please keep up the spirit..

thanks to the GIVE IT BAG team, you guys are just amazing!
